Changing Behavior

In order to help others we must first become comfortable with ourselves. We believe we find the comfort in ourselves from helping others, but sometimes life gets more complicated than that. Blog posts in this section are all about how we can adjust our lives, our  mental attitudes, our routines, on a personal level, so that we can achieve greater levels of personal satisfaction and thus increase our ability to spread positivity.

I understand (from leading our local Journal) that some 145 black bears were killed last year by conservation officers, after being habituated to garbage...and this happens to be in that lucrative oilsands region....
I have heard stories (as you have) of some of the tragic figures that have come and gone in the music industry, some who have taken their own life, others that just didn't quite make it and gave up....
And children loved these animals, goats and sheep with names like Tink, Tank, Coco, Tina...and how could someone kill these pets who were supposed to be adopted to be able to live out their lives in peace and safety?
Environmentalists and first nations are deeply concerned about harm to the environment. The oil industry on the other hand maintains that in Canada each day some 3 million litres of oil are transported by pipeline and the failure rate is very small....

HEALING YOUR INNER CHILD

What is the Inner Child? Your Inner Child can be understood in these two basic ways:
1. It is the part of you that was hurt while you were growing up, and which is still in pain within you.
2. It is the place in your heart that can trust without fear of betrayal; that is unafraid to love and be loved; that is capable of full and joyful self-expression; that takes great pleasure in play, creativity and imagination.
For you to feel free, and at peace with yourself, your Inner Child must have a Champion. That is, a compassionate witness that completely validates both your pain and your fundamental innocence and "rightness". This exercise teaches you how to become your own Champion!

WHERE IS THE MONEY?

A fascinating story of a man who jumps out of a 747 with a bag of $200,000 cash - 40 years ago - and to this day, nobody can find the money....?
