WHERE DID YOUR LONELINESS BEGIN?

Almost everyone blames themselves for the loneliness they carry. This sad and tragic lie must be dispelled by the light of love and truth! When our aloneness has lasted a long time we come to doubt our own worth and lovableness, believing that somehow a flaw in ourselves has led to our pain. And this unfair and undeserved self-doubt only adds to the sense of isolation. But what if the actual truth is this- that we are now and always have been completely and totally lovable! Where, then, did our loneliness and unfulfilled longing for love begin?

YOU WERE BORN INNOCENT!

My heart passionately and firmly tells me that we were all born innocent- and ready to be happy! It was distortions in our families/societies/cultures that wounded us. NOT any fault in ourselves and who we naturally ARE! Open your heart to your own inborn perfection, examine and then reject every belief- from your childhood, from your society/culture, from your spiritual tradition- that makes you doubt yourself. And finally validate your beautiful "rightness"- and be free!

"AUNT FANNIE"

Everybody needs someone in his/her life that is a source of inspiration--someone who encourages others to be the very best they can be. My someone was my grandmother on my mother's side of the family whom I really didn't appreciate when she was alive. Being older now and wiser (I hope)--if I'm lucky enough to have her watching down upon me--with this little story I'd like to say, "Thank you, Mama, for having been in my life!"

Choosing to face, feel, express and release your pain is the most spiritual and self-loving thing a person can do!
A poem for our precious Sandy dog July 1998 - Dec 2012

Humanity's spiritual traditions and practices- unless they incorporate the revolutionary awareness of childhood's primal impact for good or ill- have taken our sacred quest for peace, freedom and love as far as they can. As I have stated elsewhere, it is time for our next revolution of love and awareness!
If President Barrack Obama & his family travelled to Alberta, he would no doubt want to see not only the oil sands, but the pristine mountains near Banff and Jasper and would love the peace and quiet of our Province....
