I'm founder and CEO of ZiptoGreen.com. At heart, I am a writer. Eight years later after graduating from UCSC, I founded a newspaper in the city of Decatur, which is as close as you'll get to Santa Cruz in the SE. My newspapers were sold the year after 9/11. Summer '06 I decided to work for myself again, but the work had to matter. Talk of the time inspired concern about our energy habits. One answer was obvious: make access to solutions easy. ZiptoGreen.com is a new resource that uses ZIP Codes to connect every consumer in America to every energy efficiency and renewable energy resource ... An RFP was released on Tues., Oct. 27 for a website that sounds a whole lot like what ZiptoGreen does. Given that the RFP was due back on Nov. 2 ... I suspect there is more to this picture than meets the eye.
