A song is personal to each of us. When singer Bon Jovi heard the late Jeff Buckley perform Hallelujah
in a small club, he commented: "Thats going to be a hit - wish I wrote that one! "  and indeed, we all
hold that wish in our heart. If you have not heard the version by Jeff Buckley do seek it out. It is on
the only album Jeff released, called Grace.,  And
Buckley achieved success posthumously. Jeff was only 31 when he went for a swim in the Wolf River and drowned. He was the son of Tim Buckley.

Hallelujah was picked up by many singers over the years, most notable the version by Alberta singer
K.D. Lang. But also given a try by Bon Jovi, Rufus Wainwright, Bob Dylan, Susan Boyle, Willie Nelson and many many others.

The hauntingly beautiful Hallelujah performed by the late Jeff Buckley is one of my favorites and most memorable. And as Bon Jovi remarked, yes,
that song is going to be a hit...indeed....
