It was 111 years ago when the first Harley Davidson motorcycle was put together in a back yard. And Harley Davidson survived the depression, and now every summer the hog is out there in all her glory. ("Keep your motor running...out there on the highway..." Steppenwolfe singing in the background....

That distinctive design, style and growly sound. And you can bet the ghost of William S. Harley would be shocked beyond his wildest dreams about how successful this machine has become. Back in1907 a factory production of 150 bikes was a big thing, in 1920 Harley Davidson becoming the largest motorcycle manufacturing company in the world...

Always a new improved machine. And another.
Fast forward to Fat Boy in 1990. The company is again on cloud 9 after good years and bad years.
Harley has been the subject of love and hate. Yet even bikers do an annual charity run and even police often prefer a Harley.

Love em or hate em, the Harley is here to stay.
Now where can I possibly get a fixer upper to work on?
