Anyone who owns a painting by artist Joe Acs....has a special work of art...in a brochure about his art, Joe once wrote: "This landscape series reveals the emotion I feel of our rural countryside. I often compare myself to the folk artist who harmonizes our rural life. These landscapes are the outcome of a passionate intuition; paintings full of warm sunshine, cloud covered skies and grain elevators in the middle of golden wheatfields. In my art I try to give a sense of place, distance and dramatic unity...paintings to evoke the pure love of the land, and therefore should not be examined metiulously for detail...."

And indeed, Joe Acs (born in 1936) created works of art that stood the test of time....

The question: Where are you Joe? We miss you and your beautiful creation of works of art. We do hope you are fine, living somewhere in Europe and that you continue to create beautiful works...and if anyone knows where Joe might be...let me know here at Blog4Change.  Thankyou.
