How does the average person handle such a situation?

Well, don't try to pull a fast one on Lynn Szymoniak. Her work as an insurance fraud investigator helped her uncover some fraudulent documents, which led to a claim, which led to involvement by the Feds which led to Lynn getting a settlement of some $18 million. Wow.

Bloomberg News brought out this story which went on to tell us that thanks to Lynn and her investigative work...they uncovered widespread
document fraud in the mortgage industry.

And let me tell you, there are a lot of folks out there looking to make a buck with a few fancy
changes here and there - but they messed with the wrong gal in the wrong place in the wrong time.
