We had a neighbor some years ago that spent some of his personal time refinishing some of the church pews until came a day when our dear neighbor gently asked for a few dollars to help defer his costs. He was rudely told, its not possible, you took this on and should continue. With that brash atitude
he determined not to go to church. He observed
some hypocrisy taking place. Hypocrisy defined as:
act or fact of putting on a false pretense,  according
to my Thorndike-Barhhart Dictionary.

Sadly there are instances where others like our dear neighbor realized things are not always what they seem.

Nonetheless, many go to church and are fulfilled.
And that is a good thing. But to go or not to go does not mean, if you not attend that you shall go directly to hell.  Not at all.

What suits one does not suit another. You may well be blessed by being one with nature, you may well be blessed by doing good deeds that you wish to do, and the final moment of our lives is usually spent on a -  one on one moment with our Lord.
So you get to speak in a tone, in a voice, with the words that you prefer and you know what,  God is
still there for you and don't let anyone tell you different.

We can be good or bad and most folks seem to have a combination of both at various moments in their lives. What just might distinguish our very souls from a crowd could well be our very own personal connection.....to God....
