We all have so many small things cluttering up our lives. Things we do not use, do not need, but have the "need" to hold onto.
Some things hold memories for us while some of these "things" hold a price value.
However these things sit around our homes, cluttering our lives, and drawing energy from us, while these very things can make someone elses life easier, more productive, happier.
Now many people have a garage sale once or twice a year but there are always those small things left over.
Gifting to others is more valuable than any price you can place on an item and the memory of an item can be expanded on when placed in the hands of a new owner who will give it a new life!
Today, my son brought a friend over to our home. He was talking about his computer and how he had worked hard to save up for a new graphics card. My husband's ears perked up. We looked at each other and knew we had exactly what this young man was needing.
We had purchased a graphics card at a very good deal some time back but it did not work in our computer so we had kept it just because the thing was such a great deal we knew we would never get a better one for that price!
It was the perfect solution to our issue of having an unnecessary item cluttering our lives that would enrich the life of someone else. In addition it was nice to save this young man some money! We gave him this graphics card, installed it in his system for him even and he was so grateful.
It feels good to give. It felt wonderful to know that this young man had saved up the money but now had both a new graphics card and his hard earned cash to keep in his pocket!
My husband and I do not hold garage sales and we do not have a chairty location near by that actually gives donated items away so we hold onto these small things and pass them along as the need comes up - just like this did.
It is interesting that if you put out the energy that you have an item to give, someone more often than not actually needs that very item!
This has happened to us on a regular basis from used but good clothing, to kitchen items, to computer hardware or software. Whatever it is we simply let the universe know we have it and someone comes to claim it - not even realizing they are doing so.
Be open to letting go of items you do not need, let go of greed of keeping items you can not use or will not use. Let your higher power know that you have these things that could make someone else very happy and free your space and give yourself the feeling of a good deed done.
