People are often unreasonable, illogical and self centered...
forgive them anyway!
If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives...
be kind anyway!
If you are successful, you will win some false friends and make some true enemies...succeed anyway!
If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you...
be honest anyway!
What you spend years building, someone may destroy overnight...
go ahead and build it anyway!
If you find serenity and happiness, people may be jealous...
be happy anyway!
The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow...
do good anyway!
Give the world the best you have, and even that may never be enough...
give it anyway!

You see in the final analysis, its always between you and God,
it was never between you and them anyway!!

Excellent blog. I think it pretty much says we all have to remain focused on the light straight ahead and not worry about the flashes of lightening on the side of the road. Thank you Mary for posting this!

Did you ever notice how *some folks * seem to be the only ones that ever did **EVERYTHING* that there is to do in life and excelled? Huh~If we spend time on people like that ..it makes them seem more important~
