Hospital Staff Brings Prom to Girl In Hospital

A teenage girl was still in the hospital as she fought a bout of E. coli when the time her prom came around. She was upset that she wasn't going to be able to make it to her prom so the hospital staff created a makeshift prom for her.
The Indianapolis teen was joined by her boyfriend at the 'hospital prom' and cried as the two of them were crowned king and queen of the prom. Her friends were all there, dressed to the max, and the school principal also joined the party.
The girl, Leah Westrick, who goes to Fishers High School in Indianapolis, contracted the E. coli infection while traveling to Mexico for her spring break.
