Most of us have had this experience.  We are walking or driving along when all of a sudden, perhaps sitting at a park bench we
are certain - that must be Dad or Mom or a long lost friend. We
drive around the block to take a second look and the person is
not there. Have our eyes played a trick on us?

I have had this experience. And likely you have too. Are these
spirits or ghosts of the past? Is this our memory playing a trick on us? And if we tell someone - might they laugh at us?

It seems quite real. But what is reality? Is it possible our friends
or loved ones make a brief visit?  Does anyone have an explanation?

I realize, this could be coincidence. Just perhaps we were
subconsciously thinking of a happy time and the image of a loved
one flashed before our eyes. Perhaps!?

Then again, much in life is left as a question mark, a voice we
hear in the night, a dream, a feeling that someone is beside us.
And its all possible. Just because we do not see a higher power
does not mean it is not there....so perhaps we need to accept and
believe that the realm of the afterlife has many things that are
there, just to remind us, just to allow us to remember....because
one day, somewhere far away - we shall appear in a dream to
someone else and they shall have the same questions.
