Like many of you I found the Royal Wedding to be simply wonderful. A young couple embarking on a new journey of
life, together.

There is a story circulating that considering Egremont, Alberta
is not far from the Provincial Capital military garrison, that
a friend of the Prince happens to live near Egremont - thus
the possibility of a visit.

But don't hold your breath. William needs to get back to work
in Search & Rescue and his wife shall be extremely busy sending
thankyou cards to the many guests that attended the Royal
Wedding.

Now, its my guess that its quite conceivable that should this visit
occur - Prince William would want to have a pint at the
Egremont Hotel, promoted as the Watermelon Patch. But he
is not likely to find any watermelons growing there. Or maybe
I am wrong?

Egremont shares its namesake with Egremont, England.
Also Aigremont, in France. Correct me if I am wrong about
this. Nonetheless, a visit such as this would be remarkable
for the small village of Egremont, Alberta.
