If you ever enjoyed Billy Graham on television or perhaps at one of his gatherings you cannot help but respect this man...

Another book I took along on our trip to the rockies was one entitled
INTENSE MOMENTS WITH THE SAVIOUR by Ken Gire. This happens to be a book published by the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, special edition book. And from this inspiring book author Ken Gire writes:

"It was quite literally, the light at the end of the tunnel - a glimpse of glory on the other side. The way to that glory is not a road around suffering, but through it, And joy is found in the destination, not the detour..."

The mountains often relate to Jesus. The descent from the mount of transfiguration to the valley of the shadow of death. The mountains bring peace...

In one of his prayers, Ken Gire tells us:

"I pray fot that world which your father cradles so close to his heart. A world that is war torn and weary. A world that knows so little of the peace you have to offer...

he goes on...

Isaih prophesied  you would live among us as a broken hearted man, a man of sorrows, acquainted with grief..."

And with these words, this food for thought, we take a moment and ponder
the mountains, think of Jesus. And pray.
