Have you ever heard it said~  that *She  or He  was *The GLUE*  that kept the family together  ?Oh ~ that is so true   ~Throughout my years ~ i have seen it with my own eyes~ and know  families   that  have   had ~ exactly  that  happen to them ~when the *Glue * is gone so are the family ties~
There  *was*~ always a *Certain someone~* in each and every family that has earned that particular~ *Standing*~   And until that person is deceased   ~ things in general~ seem to run smoothly along ~and in order ~and keep the family together~  Probably the most likely reason being ~that everyone seems to respect that person ~and have most all thier  connections ~with ~which most of all the others   do as well~ which is essence brings   everyone together at one time or another~
Family functions and special occasions~ also  somehow see the siblings and the extended family through marriage together~ somehow or another~
In some cases  it may be either the mother or the father~ which ever one ~ was the one~ that kept things going more and got everyone together in some way~   ~not a disrespect to either one  ~ Or an Uncle or an Aunt~In other  cases ~
It is ~~up to the remaining family ~to try  to keep connected  ~However in this day and age and i am sure it was the same many years ago  there was always some that never did get along from day one  ~
That is certainly too bad~ as families are getting smaller and smaller all the time  ~ It is understandable ~that everyone has thier own ideas and standards`~ and decide to live differently ~ but ~  *Blood is blood* and there is a certain  ~*unspoken obligation  of ackowledgment*
We are of course~ under no obligation ~to be *Our brothers keeper*~ But in our hearts we should definately  feel something~
But that is life  and so it goes   ~   it is like the *Beautiful vase that falls to the floor~  and falls to pieces  ~ It can never be the same again~What kept it together is gone  ~
