The years have gone by swiftly but not without noticing absolutely all the changes around me~When i stop and think~ seeing that i have lived the majority of my life in the very same area~ in fact it is the same street that i was born on~It totally amazes me and makes me think that* Like the   iceburgs in the Ice fields* ~my very life is nearly have over ~and i havent gone too far from where i started   ~ Except for two years  away with my husband and family with his job~Now this area where we live was once a little town|| where my mother grew up as well |and went to the same school as i did   ||and my grandfather worked in the mines~
The roads were not like they are now~ It was all dirt roads  everywhere~  Everyone had a big garden~And the schools all had out door  toilets|
Women all washed clothes and hung them out on the line   to dry|  The winters were cold and they still hung them out to dry.. and the clothes froze and were brought in to dry|| My  what a magnificent smell it was   Absolutely fresh|..    The old street car was running and there was no LRT|
How did we all survive   ...There were no computers  and this new technology wasnt even thought of yet.  Time has a way of surviving and moving along   and adjusting  ....As the saying goes..*   time waits for noone *|
