I have been trying very hard to shed this sorrow, losing a Mom is just
so very hard. So perhaps you would like to pray with me tonight, for
all those that have lost a loved one....

Please Loving Father help me to overcome my sadness.
Allow me to come close to you, much closer than I have been
for a long time...

Please let me see and feel the light of happiness once again.

Sorrow may be for a minute or a day or a week, but Thy joy
is forever...

Strengthen my faith Oh Lord.

John, yes it is very hard losing a mom, and i too feel the deep sadness, at times distractions, but only for a while;
Yes, through faith, the Lord will give us strength and help us cope;
We will one day feel the light of happiness again.

John, sadder than sad, there is no button you can press to end the pain. Time and your faith will heal your wound. You could be driving a car, or watching t.v, and all of a sudden it hits you, and you are stricken with sadness. It's so hard to lose a love one. It took a long time when my Dad passed, I feel your pain.
In time John, in time.

Keep bloggin, find peace in sharing your pain with others, I'm sure there are others reading that have recently lost a loved one, your writing could help you heal, and help others too.

Thank you so much, John, for writing this excellent blog. I lost Mom Aug. 19th, and my deep sorrow for her passing is just beginning to release its grip. I know she is out of pain and in Heaven, happy, and with the Lord, and all the loved ones who went before her, my daddy, also my sister...And Momma loved her grandpa so much, too...She is so happy, I know..I can't wait to see them all in Heaven.
It's wonderful to know you will see them again...

Lord, I just pray for John right now...that Your peace would find it's way into the depths of his heart. Give him Your strength, in times of his weakness. Please wrap your arms around him tonight...hold him close! Allow Your love to radiate in him, through him & around him. Let him feel the love & warmth of his mother from heaven. She is in your presence, and for that we are grateful & blessed. Until they meet again...

Its been almost 6 months since losing Mom. Many dreams, many moments she feels so near, yet so far. In our prayers, in our hearts,
in our minds, we think of her and continue (in a sense) to seek her

guidance.
