Today I asked a friend if she and her daughter would be interested in volunteering with me. She responded with quick excitement just as I hoped she would. I told her I would start looking for ways to help children with cancer because I have a special connection to them,  I am a survivor. When I was 2 years old I was diagnosed with Leukemia, but also cured at a young age. To give back would be the most wonderful, fulfilling and selfless act I could do. And my friends 13 year old daughter was recently diagnosed with diabetes. So, naturally  she will be looking for charity work for Diabetes as well. I am super excited and can't wait to start helping others! =)
