All too often too many people are held back from the success they deserve due to the warped perspectives and innacurate judgements of those in and travelling through their lives! An abusive father, banging it into the head of their child that they are useless, and will amount to nothing! A crtical mother, whose criticism is not only far from the truth, but completely opposite, inevitably destroying one's self-esteem(if that's what my own mother thinks?).An envious sibling whom no matter how much you love and understand them and wish only the best for them, their envy blinds them to the amazingly loving and loyal relationship they could have with you, and every encounter is reason to be degraded and put down by them! Then there's the best friend, who unpleasantly worships you in their presence, but tells unspeakable lies about you when out of sight! A boss at work who feels threatened by your competancy, efficiency and personable manner, and although you are not even remotely interested, they create an unpleasant work environment for you because they are driven by their paranoia that you want what they have! Many times it's one co-worker envious of another, even though that person has always treated them respectfully and cordially(even though their behaviour warranted it not). But the GOLDEN RULE, one I can say I have personally lived by, TREAT OTHERS THE WAY YOU WANT TO BE TREATED! I can honestly say it has served me well, mainly because it is the way God wired me, so it really does come naturally, or some would say easily. It can be very challenging when you are dealing with a narcisist, eglomaniac, ignoramous or a flat out wicked individual without a conscience Particularly, if their presence is during matters which are significant or vital to you! Then there's the neighbour, and you treasure your neighbours as it is written in THE LAW to do. The person you were kind to and looked after their things while they were away doing what you thought was humanitarian work, only to find out that there was no humanity in them at all and that they were just there to promote themselves. When it all explodes, incidently over nothing, and you realize that not only does this person have no neighbourly affection towards you but you discover their contempt and hatred! The reason why is even more disturbing! They hate you because you are able to handle so much adversity and challenges and still be kind and sympathetic towards people;spreading your smile and laughter to  brighten the days of others! And their angry and aggressive demeanour, although they try to hide it between this prim and proper facade, only has the intention to try to make you as miserable as them. The nasty teacher, who hates her job(loving one's job in that profession is the top requirement)targets a good kid, blaming them for what the class bully does and even going as far as changing grades by 25-30%! All because they hate their own life and well isn't a student an easy target? Incedently this is the main motivation behind all people who can only feel better by degrading, lying, cheating, fabricating stories about 'good folk'. Along the Journey there will always be those that unfairly criticise you, pass lying judgements and take action to thwart your every effort. A life filled with a succession of these types of people, especially if their role is to protect and guide one, pose grave prospects for the future if one listens to their opinion. You will most surely absorb it more than you may think, sooner or later finding yourself struggling with the idea "are they right?". And in many cases coming to an acceptance, although it originated sub-consciously, that they must be right...it is then you can kiss your self-esteem goodbye. And self-esteem is a necessary component of success and happiness! I believe that this outright destruction of your confidence, leads many down the wrong path and far away from where they were headed, only to be handed what they never deserved. So it is very important to listen to the council given and never judge yourselves by what others think of you. No matter how good and talented you are, there will be those that hate you for it. they want desperately for you to see you the way they do...despite it is a complete lie! Most probably, in parental or romantic relationships, is where most individuals lost their self esteem! These are the most crucial relationships in our lives and the affect of how they played out can last a life time, and impact generations, unless varrying forms of help are saught. The best council from Scriptures, one that I personally followed to overcome such false judgements, harsh self critisism, and perfectionism(only of myself not others) is the one that deals with looking at oneself through the eyes of God. Firstly, you are a child of God, which initself makes you heir to the Kingdom. Thus making you Royalty.God made you in his image, so unless you believe God is ugly, you cannot perceive yourself in that manner either. God calls himself the potter and you the clay...that would make you a work of art. And he clearly states that you are a work in progress, he is moulding you into the beautiful and soulful, compassionate and kind human being that he created. It is a precious gift God gives to us...the gift of confidence(self-esteem). Not an arrogant and boastful spirit but a loving and secure(confident)one, which transforms that inner self-esteem that God has established within them and projects it to the world, treating people respectfully, kindly, compassionately, sensitively and humanely. When you feel good about who you are, it tends to be a trait associated with doing good for others! So whomever it was in your life, someone close or someone you hardly knew, shake off those lies they spewed at you, you know they're NOT TRUE! Distance yourself from those that put you down and find it funny to always crack ignorant and vulgar remarks about you...they don't deserve you! Those that claim to be your friends but only have ugly things to say about you, kick them and their warped sense of friendship to the curb and watch how good you begin to feel about yourself. Many times, contrary to the last decade of excess and overindulgence, it is not what you put in to your life but rather what you take out, that will make that necessary Change happen! Always remember to look at yourself through the eyes of God and it's Amazing how much you'll find that you like who you are! Know your life is not an accident/no matter under what circumstance you were born, there is a DIVINE Will and Purpose for your life! That those that defile your good name are not the determiners of your destiny, unless you let them. That a close relationship with God through prayer(conversation with)and obedience, strengthens you, gives you true confidence to accomplish, and there is no dream that is not possible by the Supernatural Intervention of Our Loving Creator! Humbly stated, if it is the Will of God...it shall be done...Skye's the Limit!
