You have just voiced what many of us are feeling, have felt, or will soon be feeling. I too have just joined blog 4 change and I feel so at home. I have had a separate blog page for 3 months, although it has been a cathartic experience, this forum allows me to share my spritual experiences.

So, as far as your "bump" in the road, its there for a purpose. Instead of cursing and wanting it to change, look for what the experience is trying to teach you. There is a reason for everything in our lives, there are no accidents. I know this sounds like a bunch of enlightened bs, but its true. God presents us with these challenging moments to show us where we need healing, growth and change. So consider these moments as gifts from God.

Good luck to you and I look forward to reading more of your blog posts. You're on this blog page for a reason to teach me and your other fellow bloggers, as well as to learn from us.
God bless you and Namaste.

I was a hair dresser for 20 years. I even owned a barber shop and closed it- I was there for 12 Years!@ I then went to Paralegal College and got a full degree. I am 43 years old, love to help others as you do and follow the Word of God and spirituality. Well, I too struggle. I have no income and a teenager. I am asking for help from others for the first time in my life. I went from providing for me and my teen to not being able to bring in one dime. I also cannot find work in my new field. Go figure that you need experience. I am in IL and that is crap. I have experience in the hair field and applied at 15 salons close to home and far away, I guess being a previous owner they do not select me for odd reasons of their pre judgement. It's a recession turning into a depression. I saw this coming in 2007 and felt hopeless then. I am really sad too...but the encouraging thing is, If we struggle and share together and know we are not alone and express our thoughts and feelings then healing can begin. I am confident that others do not see our true talents and that God is arranging the people and circumstances to bring you and I and others into the RIGHT place at the RIGHT time. Don't Give up!
