I don't see that as wrong, nor do I see you as a bad person for not attending. Whether you feel you should attend or not is your decision, it does not mean to say that you are being disrespectful if you do not attend. I have been to only 3 faunrels all my life, my dad's, my mum's and my mum-in-law's. There have been many others that I could have attended, including extended family, but I have chosen not to go. This choice does not mean I will not miss the person that has died or that I do not feel sad for the family members that are grieving because I do.I would just send a message of sympathy and support to any future faunrels and unless the family concerned is your close family or they specifically request that you attend, I wouldn't worry about it. Remember that you can always pop to the graveside in the days afer the funeral and leave some flowers as a token of your respect.I hope this helps a little.

You are going to hell. I believe the Bible is 100% true, inspired by God, written by man and given to us as a guide to living.I say this with no hint of judging anyone who doesn't believe this. I'm sure that other people are just as sincere in their beliefs in an afterlife as another person or in another source of comfort. So if I am wrong, I guess I will be quite surprised to find I am a dog or a street cleaner. But if I am right and the un-saved are wrong, then it will be a horrible eternity for them.

A book written by man, in all our frailities and imperfections, in which milions of people are not even aware of? Follow this guide or be condemmed to hell? It is so easy to see that the God of life is not capable of such human like thinking.

I am so glad more and more people are coming to understand this concept. Once a person understands it is their beliefs that underly every choice they make, and more importantly that those beliefs can be CHANGED, it is amazing to see how quickly their lives can improve. As a hypnotherapist, this is exactly what I do, help peel back those layers and get down to that old, unhealthy foundation, let it go, then begin with a new, fresh and healthy one. It is a beautiful thing to see someone transform their life.

Thank you for your insight!
