My reflection on the loss of some
dear friends became much more meaningful with the loss of our Dad, then
our Mom. That was just such a tender time. And perhaps we all learn from
such love and loss situations that we can always look back and hold those

That was almost 16 years ago. I understand the questioning... the why's. I do believe all things happen for a reason and I believe my brother actually chose to leave this life so that we, his family, could learn some things our souls needed to learn. Probably his as well. If that is the case, then I am grateful to him, and attempt to learn all that I can from his death about peace, love and acceptance, and of course letting go. Not always easy lessons to learn. Thank you John!
