I remember clearly one time I had gotten together with Rick Brown to review some music. Rick was at the keyboard and Ronnie Hawkins walked in the door. Ronnie is a good friend of Bill Clinton and in his early years Ronnie Hawkins was quite a celebrity. To have him give a compliment was really something, and those are the moments songwriters really appreciate....last I heard, Ronnie was not in the best of health, but his music will always have a lasting quality....I hope my own songs will stand the test of time...<br/><br/>
