For me, reading this friend's rendition of his life story in a few well-crafted paragraphs helps to cast light on the essentials, but leaves me feeling a little cheated.  For my part, not portrayed are the real gems; the depth of insights your friends and colleagues have come to miss that frequently enrapt our lunch table and gave us much to ponder.  Joyfully bid farewell to curses against the stacks of marking, and good luck continuing to put that energy towards more creative pursuits.<br/><br/>

Syncrude credit for it's efforts, and we must all strive to work together
