feel much the same; believe me, i am usually ready to walk out no sooner i walk in; we have a great dentist, but, i have always been
uncomfortable, and feel i'm might have a coughing fit, or have spit go
down the wrong tube, and start choking at those times; so far, so good ! Keep Smiling, Old Soul.

I approach the dentist office,
ask if perhaps I made a mistake and booked on the wrong day, then
I suggest perhaps someone needs dental work more than I do, and then suggest the tooth suddenly feels better. By this time, my gosh,
the dentist and staff have caught on....and I am at their mercy....

I'm dreading the *D* also.
Give me a colonoscopy any day before the *D* word . I've been going since I was 6 years old, dreaded it then and still do today. Oh boy, when my Mom used to make our appointment, I used to feel sick all day at school, knowing what was awaiting me at the end of the day.

I try to tell myself, it's only a half hour to an hour, so I will be tortured for an hour, I made it through childbirth, I can do this. We just need to work on our minds.
