Clearly ducks haven't learnt about road sense and the dangers of life.

Did I read someone wondering about `Talking to Ducks?'...Of course you can - and they understand.

Yesterday I visited a friend who keeps hens, 3 of them, in her back garden. They are bantam hens. A few weeks ago one of them was baldy i.e. she had lost her feathers and was terribly cold - Christmas is not a good time to moult. Yesterday Baldy was no more....she had re-grown her feathers - and was put into my arms to hold for a few minutes. Now holding a hen may not do it for you - but until you hold your first hen.......you know nothing...How wonderful to hold a little one of God's creatures safe. A truly amazing experience.

Give hen holding a try:-).

I sometimes come across a herd of ducks, the momma and her little ducklings and I frantically watch them crossing a busy street and everytime I see this, I want to just close my eyes. I'm glad there is someone out there who is willing to care for ducks even if she may not be in the same city as me. It's just awesome to know that someone has a heart of gold!

People do wonderful things for other people AS WELL AS animals, but you aren't there to see it.....You must assume that others are just as cool, or you are not being fair to the rest of the people....Just because you don't SEE love, doesn't mean that it's not happening all around you..Cool story though.....:)
