I tried doing what you said and to my surprise I found it hard to find a time in my life when I was actually happy in order to picture it in my mind. However, through the night I was thinking and I came up with images of a time when I was happy, and much to my surprise, I woke up today happy! This whole post emphasizes what I have been working on, healing and change through visualization and thus internalization. Another blogger once said we manifest what we focus our energies on, so this post expands on that idea to focus on your happy memories.

I'll tell you, change is very hard, especially when you have been conditioned to be the way you are for over 30 years or more. But tips like this give me hope that a lasting change is possible. I will continue to do your suggested exercise, every hour or more re-experience my happy time.

Thank you!<br/><br/>
