Indeed, our attitude is the foundation on which we stand. We cannot change others; we can only change ourselves. I used to know this in my head; now I know it by practicing what I preach. (I touched on this in my blogpost today.) Thank you for spreading your honesty and positivity.

To be able to say "I love myself exactly as I am" is an incredibly powerful thing! And yes, there is always room for improvment.. "Loving" my thighs doesn't mean I don't want them to look better, but it does mean I am not full of negativity, anger or shame when I look at them. I honestly believe the change can come easily and quickly if we can come from this place of love for ourselves. Good luck to you! We are all on this journey together!

Melody: Thank you so much! It is difficult, but so necessary. Pretending isn't healthy & only lasts so long. It's when we really take a good inventory of ourselves that we can truly grow. Blessings to you :o)

Looking inside for change is always harder than looking at someone else instead,, but that's where the reward is...it's inside.

I love how honest you are being. I actually think it is extremely important for people to acknowledge their flaws in addition to their strengths. You cannot grow if you cannot admit that you need to!
You are doing a great job & I love all of the quotes that you have been using. xoxo
