When we were 12 smoking was cool. After all the years of putting that tar in our bodies it dosent feel cool and knowledge of how unhealthy it is makes it even worse. Tip-i recently found that drinking any beverage through a straw helps to squash a craving!

I have used many mediums to help me stop (all recent), one of them is hypnotherapy. I learned through the hypnotherapy that I considered cigarettes to be my friend. They have always been there for me! So I had to start to look at quitting like breaking up with a friend that is bad for you!

Lemme tell ya...kava kava herbs and detoxifying vitamins help a lot too.
Check out my website: www.psychicmelody.com . You will see why I don't want to smoke any more. It does not FIT who I am.

You can do this! You're right, it is an addiction. I have never smoked, but the clients I see have led me to understand it is just as much (if not more) of an emotional addiction than it is physical. It comes down to what need did smoking meet for you, and if you can figure out how to meet that need in a healthy way, it gets much easier! It sounds like you're on the right track though, and I applaud you! Keep up the good work.
