I think too many people feel depressed, or sad, or angry, or whatever, and they feel bad about feeling depressed, which makes them more depressed. Or they feel guilty about being angry and bottle it up. Point being, whatever you are feeling, accept it and understand it is okay. For instance, if you are feeling depressed, allow yourself to feel depressed and don't feel bad about it and you will find that you will get out of your depression much quicker.
