I at last have reached my goal and solved the mystery of my soul.

In my daily work, I am put in contact with a multitude of people from virtually every walk of life. In a mundane sort of way, it's not always a pleasant experience. I seems to me anyway, that people are allowing themselves to evolve more and more into self centered, disconnected zombies. It truly is as if they think they are the only ones on the planet and to hell with anyone else or anything else.. unless it serves their own purpose.

Needless to say, at several points throughout the day I have to take time to center myself and get back to a state of appreciation and connection with all things. Easier said than done to be sure.. but necessary nonetheless. It's a challenge we're all faced with and one that I doubt will never go away so long as we play in this human world.

To that end, I would like to offer up a westernized translation from what I was told long ago was an old Egyptian manuscript. I don't know where it came from but I do know this; if it speaks to you then who cares where it came from? It is called: NukPeNuk.. I AM THAT I AM .

NUK PE NUK

I AM THAT I AM

I at last have reached my goal,

And solved the mystery of my soul.

I am that to which I prayed,

That to which I looked for aid.

I am that which I did seek.

I am my own mountain-peak.

I upon creation look, as a page in my own book.

For I the ONE, the many make,

Of substance, which from ME I take.

There is but ME, there are not two,

Creation is MYSELF all through.

What I grant unto Myself,

I take down from my own Self,

And give to me, the only ONE,

For I am the Father and the Son.

The Three in ONE is what I am,

And hell itself is but a dam,

Which I did put in my own stream,

That in a nightmare I did dream,

That I was not the only ONE,

And thus by me, was pain begun.

Which ran its course ‘till I awoke,

And found with me that I did joke.

So now that I do stand awake,

My kingdom I do wisely take.

And rule MY kingdom, which is ME,

A Master, through all eternity.
