Today is the day I begin to take back my life.  Granted, this sounds extreme and when you realize that my plan involves reducing, reusing and recycling, you will no doubt think I'm a drama queen, but this really is a big deal, in the big dealiest way, for me.  My plan is simple, for the next twelve months, I will only make second hand purchases except in cases that involve ettiquette and hygiene.  I'll work those details out as I go but while I'm pretty sure I can figure out a way to get through the holidays and my youngest son's 11th birthday without violating this experiment, I'm doubtful I can find second hand toothpaste or chicken noodle soup.  Please join me on this journey, I'm sure it will prove to be entertaining as I am constitutionally incapable of entering Target and walking out without spending at least 100.00.
