Before you eat your second cookie, think about this. Why do you eat fatty, high calorie foods? Does it make you slimmer and better looking, does it make you feel better, does it prevent your from having a heart attack, stroke, and/or diabetes? No, of course not. The only reason you eat these foods is because of the taste. So you ask yourself, should I tear my tongue out of my mouth to stop these flavourful wonders from taking over your life? No, of course not. I will teach you to ban, the temptations from making your decisions.
Ten rules
1) DO NOT IGNORE THE SHORT-TERM RESULTS THEY ARE STILL THERE! Before you munch down on your favourite chocolate chip cookies, think about what it will temporarily do for you. It will taste satisfying!
2) NOW THINK ABOUT THE LONG-TERM RESULTS! If you eat fatty, high calories foods daily, your chances are much higher to have, weight-gain, stroke, heart attack, diabetes, ect. An apple will fill your stomach more than a cookie, and the long-term results are much better for you.
3) THROW-OUT ALL THE JUNK FOOD IN YOUR HOUSE! You probably seen this on diet shows before, and it works! You no longer have the temptation laying under your nose. You’ll be surrounded by healthy, good, foods!
4) EXCERSISE, EXCERISE, EXCERSISE! You don’t need a gym! Every second day, go for a long walk, jog, or run. Stick your feet behind your couch and do sit ups! (I will post a blog to share more techniques)
5) WEIGH YOUR FOODS! If an apple fills your stomach, why eat cookies? You will need about four cookies to fill you up, and it will be double, triple the calories.
6) DO IT FOR YOURSELF! If you do it for what people will think about you, the results will never be the same. You may look great, but you will have no self-encouragement that everybody needs!
7) DO NO CALL IT A DIET! A diet is a temporarily change in your eating pattern. If your doing this for the right reasons, you will be doing this for life!
8) WEIGH YOURSELF EVERY WEEK! Number on scales is a huge encouragement. When you drop a pound, your whole day is lifted, and you feel on top of the world.
9) WRITE A DIARY OF YOUR FOODS! You don’t have to write everything you eat! But, you are encouraged to write the times during the day that you begin to get hungry.
10) GET OUT OF THE HOUSE! When you are restricted in your house, it is hard to keep positive. Boredom will begin to take affect, and will boredom comes over-eating.
